Margaret Hucker

Margaret R. Hucker , 82 of Lake Forest, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday December 8, 2017.
She was born on August 13, 1935 in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Lee A. and Letha J. (Shafar) Smith. Margaret worked as an accountant in the Security Industry. She married Earl Hucker on June 23, 1979. Margaret is survived by her husband Earl, and their children, Joseph (Mary) Hiett, Ruth Brueggeman, David Hiett and Nancy Hucker Hiett, Daniel (Joyce) Hiett, Naomi (Brian) McEneely, Joshua (Tracy) Hucker, Debra (Kenneth) Lauridsen and Earl (Sherry) Hucker Jr, as well as her sister Frances Nielsen, 29 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Wesley Smith, her sister Doris Peterson, her son-in-law, Pastor David Brueggeman and her brother-in-law Donald Nielsen.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Church of the Covenants of Lake Forest, located at 350 East Deerpath Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045. Her Grandsons, Rev. David Brueggeman and Rev. Arthur Brueggeman will be Officiating and her son David Hiett will be the organist. Visitation will be held on Monday December 11, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL 60031. Burial will be in Warren Cemetery. The Pallbearers are Matthew Brueggeman, Michael Lauridsen, Edward McEneely, Nathan Hiett, Joshua Hiett, and Joshua Borwszewski, all of whom are her grandsons. Additionally, her grandson Benjamin Hiett will play TAPS at her graveside service.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests any donations be made in her name to The Church of the Covenant of Lake Forest. The Family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
