Rose "Marie" Stanhope

Rose "Marie" Stanhope, 71, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years William H. Stanhope; her loving children Becky (Erik) Garrison, Toni (Matt) Heiser, William R.(Melissa) Stanhope, Wendi (Dave) Hill, and Ryne Stanhope; her cherished grandchildren Haley, Alec, Cade, Lani, Rilee, Arya, Liam, Louis, Carter, Brecklen, Devan, Ana, and Ania; her precious great-grandchildren Brylee and Brynlee; and her dearest siblings George Fields, Hazel Rudzinski, Laura Fields, Lottie Mayer, and James Fields. She will be deeply missed by her many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and honorary adoptive children that she loved so much.

She is preceded in passing by her proud parents Margaret and Russell Fields.

Marie will be fondly remembered as a beloved daycare attendant and childcare provider for countless children. She adored being a Girl Scout leader for her children, PTA president, and Volunteered many years at McCall Elementary School, in Waukegan.

She was fiercely dedicated to supporting her family, as they grew, in any way that she could. She will be deeply missed!

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 4PM-6PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The Memorial service will then begin at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marie's memory for her family would be greatly appreciated.
