Marilyn J. Miller

Marilyn J. Miller, nee Slocum, passed away at the young age of 91 on November 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles "Chuck" Miller Sr. in 2021 and survived by her sister Shirley Ward (nee Slocum).

Married in September of 1950 to her childhood sweetheart, Charles, they had 2 children, Charles Jr. and Christine. She is the proud grandmother of Cindi Don (Dan Reich), Patricia Don, Lace (Chad) Velk, Ashley (Clayton) Sharp, Charles Leroy Miller III and 3 great-grandchildren.

A "stay at home mom" until the kids were old enough to manage on their own, Marilyn then began a career with Figurette Bras and became one of the highest selling agents in the company. Marilyn loved her garage sales and passed that addiction on to all of her children and grandchildren. Fishing up north was a favorite passtime for both Marilyn and Charles. They loved spending time with their children and grandchildren on the property they had for many years. While known for being a sweetheart without a mean bone in her body, Marilyn would show her spunky nature when yelling at her husband for hiding cookies in the trunk of his car in the garage! Despite this, Marilyn and Chuck had earned the nickname of "The Saints" from friends and their grandchildren.

After a long life where she impacted many people with her kindness, Marilyn spent her last days and passed away in her forever home she had shared with Chuck. This special lady will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
