Mark Gearica

Mark Joseph Gearica, age 26, passed away on October 5, 2017.

Mark is survived by his parents, Joseph M. and Susan (Boettner) Gearica of Wadsworth, Illinois; his sisters: Julie (Jason) Denny of Trevor, Wisconsin; Amy (Tim) Kelly of Salem, Wisconsin; and Lynn (Nic) Wingard of Decatur, Illinois. Also surviving Mark are his nieces and nephews: Ryne, Reece, Conner, Madelyn, McKoy, and Emerson; Aunts and Uncles: William (Sharon) Boettner of Line Lakes, Minnesota; Janet (Richard) Kolb of Mt. Dora, Florida; and Ronald (Karleen) Boettner of Independence, Minnesota. Preceding him in death were his Grandparents, Hugh and Marion Boettner and John and Carole Gearica.

Mark was an avid Kansas City Chiefs Fan. He also enjoyed fishing, disc golf, playing pool, watching movies, and bowling. His great source of pride was that he loved being an Uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family may visit at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031 on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 5:00-8:00PM. On Wednesday, October 11, 2017 Services will be held at Joy Lutheran Church, 749 S. Hunt Club Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031. Services will begin at 10:00AM presided over by Bill Boettner, Ron Boettner, and Mark Borgetti. Interment will follow in Warren Cemetery after services have ended.
