Mary Jeanne Becker

Mary Jeanne Becker (Flagg). Born February 20,1939. Daughter of Richard and Lucille Flagg passed away June 20, 2026. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, John (Jack) Becker. Mary is survived by sister Nancy Tippet (Flagg) of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and brother Don Flagg (Kelly) of Haslett, Michigan.

Mary is also survived by nephews Jeff Tippet (Cindy), Michael Tippet, and TJ Flagg; nieces, Leanne (Tippet) Fischer, Carrie (Tippet) Andersen, Cari Hammer-Flagg, and Katie (Flagg) Taylor.

Mary grew up in Waukegan and lived in the area her entire life. Mary graduated from Waukegan Township High School in 1957. She worked at the First National Bank of Waukegan for more than 40 years, retiring as a bank officer.

Mary was a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Mary’s family would like to thank Galloway Senior Living for their care, compassion and professionalism during the time Mary lived there. A special thanks to St. Croix Hospice Care, especially Mark, for their excellent care, communication and compassion. It is appreciated.

Mary will be interred with her husband at the Warren Funeral Home Cemetery and Mausoleum in Gurnee.
