Mary Lindh Regnier

Mary Eleanor Lindh Regnier of Grayslake, passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 65 after a prolonged illness.

Mary was born in Chicago, IL on March 16th, 1960 to Dorothy Lindh (White) and Robert Lindh, and was raised in Grayslake, IL. Mary attended Grayslake High School before earning an Associate of Arts degree at The College of Lake County and pursuing a BA at Columbia College of Missouri.

Mary was a lover of theater, music, family, and friendship. A survivor of breast cancer and a lifetime of complications from congenital hip dysplasia. She was active in supporting human rights, providing donations and attending events as a loving friend to all who needed her. Mary was very connected, calling many of her loved ones on their birthdays to sing for them.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy, step-father Leonard White, and brothers Robert and Lawrence. Mary is survived by her husband Pierce, daughter Emma, stepsons Pierce David and Julian, granddaughter Adeline, brothers Frank and Eric, and sisters Diana, Penni, and Dorothy. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Mary’s family has requested donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. Shriners had a place in Mary’s heart throughout her life after receiving years of surgical and recovery care for her own congenital hip dysplasia as a young child, care that she might not have been able to receive otherwise. Mary consistently donated to Shriners Hospital for Children throughout her life, so donations in her name would be greatly appreciated.

Friends and family will meet for memorial services on Sunday, January 18, 2025 from 2PM-6PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL 60031.
