Michele A. Hummel

Michele Hummel, 58, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years Daniel Hummel; her loving son Joshua Hummel; her brothers Timothy Bromstead and Kevin Bromstead; her sisters-in-law Claudia (Donald) Michaels and JoEllen (Barry) Morphew; her brother-in-law Paul (Jan) Hummel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply.

She is preceded in passing by her son Andrew Hummel; her parents Leonard and Ruth Bromstead; her sister Lori (survived by Ray) Hunter; and her niece Shannon Haas.

Michele was an excellent seamstress and quilter. She made every stitch and square with much TLC. Many were such grateful recipients of her artworks. She greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the Renaissance Faire starting in her teen years. She was a cookie baker, movie enthusiast, as well as a total fan of everything that was Halloween.

Michele had 34 combined years in customer service functions with many companies, Venture Stores, Cejn corporation, First insurance funding, Paris Presents inc., Sims Intertech Resources, and her most recent employer AFCO Direct where she had just recently been promoted to a supervisory position.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on October 16, 2025 from 1PM-3PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee IL. A Celebration of Life service for Michele will then begin at 3PM.
