Monica Sebes

Monica E Sebes, age 51 passed away on July 23, 2017 surrounded by family at home following a courageous battle with Breast Cancer.

Monica is survived by her husband, Paul Sebes. They were eloped on February 17, 1995 at the courthouse. On their first wedding anniversary, they had a church wedding where they were greeted by family and friends.

Monica is also survived by her sons, Steven (Jaclyn) Sebes; and Michael Sebes; parents Omelio and Sharon Diaz; sister, Cassandra Diaz; and 2 grandchildren, Sean and Angelique.

Monica loved craft work and was a stay at home mother to her children. Her crafting was showcased at local craft shows, churches, and hospitals. She made hats and scarves for patients at the Kellogg Cancer Center along with family and friends. She was very outgoing and close to her family members. Her favorite of all time was M&Ms memorabilia!

Visitation will begin at 1:00PM and continue until 5:00PM with a memorial service at 2:00PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031 on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Officiating over the service will be Pastor Jerry Harris. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
