Nadine Fraulini

Nadine Marie Fraulini passed away peacefully on the evening of August 23, 2022. Nadine was born on October 15, 1961, to Henry and Jennie Fraulini. She grew up with her parents and her sister Arlene on the northwest side of Chicago and enjoyed numerous childhood holiday and summer trips to visit family in Highwood and Christopher, Illinois. Nadine went to St. William Elementary School and Notre Dame High School for Girls, where she made lifelong friends. Then, she attended DePaul University, where she performed her undergraduate studies and obtained a Master’s Degree in Taxation, while making further friends for life.

As an accountant, Nadine ultimately formed her own company – Fraulini Tax Advisors, Ltd. – while finding professional fulfillment throughout her career and continuing to develop friendships that she would cherish throughout her life. She was also married to Tom Severance, with whom she remained good friends following their divorce. Nadine also provided tremendous care for her mother Jennie for years, while making even more friends in the process, and gave constant support to her nephews Steve and Frank Bieszczat. In addition, she provided loving care and attention to Bunny and Sweetart – two very lucky dogs. And Nadine was always involved with her church, where she played guitar and sang in the choir.

At all times, Nadine enjoyed the company of her friends and family. She was the life of the party. Nadine loved travel, music, the Cubs, good food, Star Trek, and really anything that brought joy to those around her. She was incomparably generous with her time, money, and kindness, and she will be warmly remembered and missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her.

Nadine's family wishes to extend an invitation to all her friends to join them at the Visitation which will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, Illinois.

The Funeral Mass to celebrate Nadine's life will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee, Illinois.

Immediately following Mass everyone will drive in procession to Ascension Catholic Cemetery 1920 W. Buckley Rd., Libertyville, Illinois for the Graveside Services and Interment.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
