Pearl Warrens

Pearl E. Warrens, 99, of Wildwood, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 17, 2015. She was born on October 10, 1916 in Little Black, WI. On June 10, 1936 in Wisconsin, Pearl married Bernard Warrens. Pearl was the owner and operator of Ben's Tap in Gages Lake for many years, Johns Manville for over 30 years, and also worked at Frank's Nursery in Libertyville and Country Gardens in Gurnee. She babysat all her grandbabies and the neighborhood kids, was extremely generous, sweet to everyone, and always had a kind word to say. Pearl leaves to cherish her loving memory, a son, Gerald (Bernadette) Warrens; a daughter, Rosalie (James) Peckinpaugh; three grandchildren, R.B. (Amanda) Warrens, Traci (Steve) Siggeman, Christopher Warrens, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Ella (Hamm) Taylor; beloved husband, Bernard Warrens, and seven siblings. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. A memorial service will be at 12:00 noon at the funeral home on Thursday, October 22, 2015 with Pastor Ryan Siegers officiating from The Chapel in Libertyville. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee. Memorial donations may be made to The Oasis Fund for orphans.org, C/O The Chapel, 1200 American Way, Libertyville, IL 60048.
