Phyllis Burns

Phyllis G. Burns, 90, of Gurnee, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at home. She was born on January 18, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Henry and Josepha (nee Lohfink) Fierst. She is survived by her two loving children, David Burns of Illinois and Cynthia Burns of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Morriss and Teagan Morriss. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur Burns in 1988 and two brothers, Henry Fierst and Edwin Fierst. Services are taking place at Spice-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N.
