Rita Stoesslein

Rita N. Stoesslein, 84 of Kenosha, WI, formerly of Waukegan and Sacramento, CA passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

She was born on December 25, 1934 to the late Fred and Ruth (Ames) Boehm.   On June 25, 1955 she married John Stoesslein in North Chicago, IL.  Rita was brought up in the Lakes area and North Chicago, and attended Waukegan schools.  She was a bookkeeper for many years and in California she was a real estate agent.  She loved antiques and helped her husband John in searching for his antiques.  In her early years she was a Sunday school teacher and a Girl Scout Leader.

Rita is survived by her husband of over 64 years, John, her daughters, Carol Saleski, Nancy Schlarbaum, and Janet (Michael) Tillman, her grandchildren, Amanda Saleski, Lauren Saleski, Jonathan Saleski, Zachary Schlarbaum, Matthew Tillman, Katie (Scott) Phillips, Andrew Tillman, Allison (Reno) Giangiorgi, her great grandson, Lucas Giangiorgi, her brother, Barton (Sandy) Boehm, and her sister Adrienne (Richard) Vogt.

She was preceded in death by parents.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.
