Rita Vargas

Rita Vargas, 56 of Round Lake Beach, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL.

She was born on August 31, 1963 to Guadalupe and Hermelinda (Vargas) Albino in Mexico.  On May 25, 1988 she married Angel Landa.  She was a member of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines.  Rita enjoyed baking, making cheese and cooking.

Rita is survived by her husband Angel, her parents Guadalupe and Hermelinda, her sons; Jose (Cecilia) Landa, Guadalupe (Janet) Landa, Angel Landa, and Jesus Landa, her grandson Anthony Landa, her siblings; Graciano, Remedios, Juan, Celfo, Conrada, Celia, Maria, Placida, and Lupe Albino

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, private family services will be held.

Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.

Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery is assisting the family.
