Robert Lemmon

Robert B. Lemmon, 70 of Gurnee passed away on Friday August 24, 2018 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Illinois.

He was born on May 13, 1948 to the late Clay and Violet (Stone) Lemmon in Vincennes, Indiana. On June 17, 1973 he married the former Phyllis Kaiser in Vincennes, Indiana. Robert was a member of St. Patrick Church in Wadsworth and belonged to the Purdue Alumni Association. He was an avid reader and history buff, but spending time with his family was his favorite activity of all. Robert had a 40 year long career as a hospital pharmacist.

Robert is survived by his wife Phyllis, his children, Peter (Katie) Lemmon and Sarah (Edmond) Thompson, his mother in law, Leona (Cricket) Kaiser, his grandchildren, Allison and Clay Lemmon and Harrison and Lucy Thompson, his sister Anne (Marvin) Behnke, his sister in laws, Debbie (Ted) Richardville and Charlene (John) Minderman, his brother-in-law Kevin (Maleah) Kaiser.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Friday August 31, 2018 at St. Patrick Church located at 15000 W. Wadsworth Rd. Wadsworth, Illinois. The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. at the church.


In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Robert's name may be made to the Kellogg Cancer Center (www.foundation.northshore.org) or Saint Patrick's church in Wadsworth (www.stpatrickwadsworth.org) .

The family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
