Robert Morton

Robert D. Morton, 79, of Gurnee passed away suddenly on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Sunrise of Gurnee. He was born on October 6, 1935 in Carroll, Iowa to Harold Louis and Thelma Maron (McClurg) Morton. On January 8, 1965 in Emporium, Pennsylvania, Robert married Patricia Faye Peterson. He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Nicole (Jon) Kreamer; three grandchildren, Katie Kreamer, Ellie Kreamer and Thomas Kreamer; one brother, Clark Edward Morton; brother-in-law, Don (Sharon) Peterson; nieces and nephews, Janet (David) Caserez, Shawn (Joanna) Peterson, Brian (Anna) Peterson, Clark Morton II, Jeff Morton, Cathy Morton and Ross (Louise) Morton. He was preceded in death by her parents; beloved wife, Patricia Faye Morton on February 23, 2014, and sister-in-law, Louise Peterson. Memorial services are private. Inurnment at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee.
