Ronald Lauridsen

Ronald Lauridsen, 81, of Waukegan, IL passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Appleton, WI.

He was born on November 12, 1940 to Ingvard and Esther (Barre) Lauridsen in Oceana City, MI.

Ron graduated from High School in Ludington, MI, in 1959.  In the mid-60’s, Ron went on to proudly serve in the United States Army, stationed in Korea.  Throughout his life he entertained many interests, including golfing, bowling, traveling, and gambling at the casino.  He was a life-long lover of dogs, and had a great interest in his Danish heritage, becoming a member of the Danish Brotherhood Lodge #14 in Kenosha.  Some of his most cherished memories came from getting together and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Grams; his nephews, Gene (Amy) Grams, and Dan Grams; his nieces, Mary Grams, Lisa (Tom) Mann, Valerie Lauridsen, and Gayle (Charles) House; along with 8 great nephews and nieces, and 7 great-great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, LeRoy Lauridsen, and his brother-in-law Robert Grams.

The family will hold a visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031.  Burial in Warren Cemetery with military honors will immediately follow the visitation.
