Rose Hutchison

Rose Marie Hutchison, 85 years old, of Round Lake, Illinois, formerly of Arlington Heights and Elk Grove, passed away on August 4, 2017, at Journey Care Hospice in Barrington, Illinois. She was born on August 1, 1932 in Mound City Kansas and was the beloved wife of George F. Hutchison, for 60 wonderful years. Rose was preceded in death by her sons Edward James Hutchison and George and Francis Hutchison, her parents, Margaret M. (Gorman) and James "Edward" Higgins, her sister, Mary Ann Galloway, her brother-in-law Tom Galloway and her brother Peter Higgins. Rose was the loving and devoted mother of Mary (Phil) Ried, Bill Hutchison, Joe (Mary) Hutchison, Theresa (Frank) Sarillo, Patricia Olszewski, Elizabeth Kautz, Thomas (Jessica) Hutchison; beloved grandmother of Christopher, Timothy, Matthew, Joseph, Nicholas, Nicole, Shannon, Brittany, Michael, Thomas, Lauren, Rachel, Kyra and Nate and loving great grandmother of Graham. Rose is also survived by five sisters, one brother and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rose was a retired Hospice nurse, who loved and cared for so many. She loved gardening, puzzles, word searches, taking long walks, cooking for any/everyone and most of all, spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 114 Lincoln Ave, Round Lake, IL 60073 on Monday at 9:30 am.
