Rose J. Whitlock

Rose J. Whitlock, 93, of Plano, TX, formerly of Lindenhurst, IL passed away on March 24, 2026.

She was born on November 22, 1932 in Spokane, Washington to the late Shulyler and Gertrude (Campsall) Warren and grew up in foster care. She served in the Marines from 1952 to 1953. On December 13, 1953 she married Norman Whitlock.

Rose is survived by her children, Eugene Whitlock, Janet Roberts, and Gail (Kenneth) Andrews; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Sandy, Benjamin, Rachel, Christina, Matthew, Andrew, Steve, Daniel, Craig, Dawn, Carissa, and Jeremie and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Norman, her parents; her daughter, Kathleen Fewell, and her daughter-in-law Beverly Whitlock.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 9AM-10AM at Warren Funeral Home,1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Illinois. The funeral service will begin at 10AM, followed by interment at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL. Rev. Roger Bond will officiate.
