Rosie Conver

Rosie B. Conver, 85, of North Chicago, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on June 6, 1928 in Waukegan to Vaughn and Mary Brown. On April 1, 1948 in Waukegan, Rosie married Nathaniel Conver, Sr.

She leave to cherish her memory, her loving family; children, Margaret (Toussaint Tate) Smith, Joseph (Hattie Williams) Conver, Sr., Margery (Arlee, Jr.) Williams, Helen (Alexander Miller) Ross, Madeline (Gordon) Hazeley, Nata Cotton, Nathaniel (Joan) Conver, Jr., Johnny Conver, Darlene (Mark Gallagher) Conver, James (Ernestine) Conver, Ronald (Angela) Conver, Elaine Conver, Sharmaine Jones and Fredia (Lonnie) Turner; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Nathaniel, Sr.; two twin baby boys; two daughters; three brothers; one sister; one granddaughter and one great grandson.

Rosie loved being a momma. She enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening and dancing.

Funeral services are Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11am with visitation one hour prior to services at WARREN FUNERAL HOME. Her son, Rev. James Conver will officiate the services. Inurnment will be private at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee.
