Roy Mounce

Roy Elmer Mounce, 95 of Wauconda passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

He was born on February 15, 1925 to the late John and Ollie Mae (Carter) Mounce in Metropolis, IL.  He proudly served in the United States Army.  On April 13, 1957 he married Betty Carper.  She preceded him in death on July 11, 2016.  Roy enjoyed teaching people sign language and was a devout Christian.

Roy is survived by his daughter Linda (Rev. David) Siczko and his son Stephen Mounce and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and his parents.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Good Shepherd Christian Center located at 38869 Deep Lake Rd. Lake Villa, IL 60046.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Church.  Rev. David Siczko will officiate.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
