Sally Ogden

Sally Mae Ogden, 85, of Waukegan, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on August 4, 1929 in Yazoo, Mississippi to Johnnie and Mary Jessie (Thomas) Cooper, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of more than 50 years, J. D. Ogden, Jr.; son, Robert Parrish and daughter, Johnetta Carson; sisters, Helen (Phillip) Jenkins and Laura Johnson; grandchildren, Valencia Belton, Obray Carson, Tramer Carson, Keyvon Ogden, Natalia Carson and Erica Hart; great granddaughter, Nevaeh Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnnie Cooper, Jr.. Sally devoted her life to raising children and enjoyed fishing. Visitation is Monday, September 29, 2014 from 11am-12pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Funeral services are Monday at 12pm the funeral home with Apostle Ernest Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
