Steven Frank Zager

Steven Frank Zager, 82, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Janet Zager (nee Lery); his loving children Tracy (Chip) Reaves, Steve (Carolee) Zager, and Chris (Christie) Zager; his precious grandsons Blake, Andrew, Cooper, and Connor; his dear sister Bev (the late Frank) Wiza; his dear niece Sherry and nephew Frank Jr. (who lovingly called him “Uncle Butch”), and many great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him deeply.

He is preceded in passing by his mother Charlene Zager and his Uncle John and Aunt Marie Fowler.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10AM-12PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Steven’s name to any military charity of your choice.
