Susan Adamson

Susan Rosetta Adamson, 87, of Gurnee, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines. Born in Manchester, Jamaica to Adina Hyman nee Tyndale and Alfred Hyman. Predeceased by husband, Celvin Mayhew Adamson. Grandson- Blair Robinson,Sisters: Una Duncan, Etta Stephenson, Ulith Crooks, Mavis Allen. Brothers Peter and Oswald Allen. GranddSurvived by sister, Susan Lindsay- Orlando, Fl. Children Marva Farmer, Clyde Adamson, Ruan Adamson, Pauline Robinson, Ian Adamson, and Valerie Adamson. Sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends. Retired from AVON. Formerly from London, England before moving to Evanston, Il in 1976. Had a passion for wrestling and Word Search games.
Susan will be sorely missed by her family and friends but they are secure in the fact that someday soon they will meet again.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 2-6pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Funeral services are Monday, November 11, 2013 at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Allen officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee.
