Timothy Duncan, age 70, of Beach Park, IL, passed away February 8, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI. Timothy was born June 9, 1952 in Forrestal Village, Illinois, to the late Betty and Joseph Duncan. He was a varied athlete in his younger days, playing basketball, softball and also coaching his daughter in softball for years. He shared his love for science fiction and chess with his son. He worked as a chemical operator/trainer at Abbott Laboratories for 28 years until his well-earned retirement. More recently, Tim became an avid golfer and gardener, who made about as many friends as he did sales at the nearby weekly farmer’s market. He was an exceptional human, and his dry wit and unique sense of humor will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn Luna (Armando), and son, Robert Duncan; brothers Michael Duncan (Pamela) and Jeffrey Duncan; and many other cherished family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathy, and their faithful pets. A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Road (located on the northside of the intersection of Tri-State Parkway and Cemetery Rd.), Gurnee, IL 60031.  Inurnment will immediately follow.
