Walter Heidrich

Walter J. Heidrich, 86, of Gurnee, passed away May 13, 2016 at home. He was born in Germany on June 11, 1929. Walter loved his family, and enjoyed boating and fishing. He is survived by his loving daughters, Madeleine Hayes and Sylvana (Jeffrey) Ventura; grandchildren, Jason (Sally) Ventura and Jennifer (Mike) Waters; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Jude Ventura, Ethan Henry Ventura, Lilly Elizabeth Ventura, Charlie Walter Ventura, Michael Jeffrey Waters and Madisyn Colleen Waters; many nieces, nephews, and special friend of the family, Michele Pemberton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Louisa (Pipping) Heidrich; beloved wife of 54 years, Lilly Heidrich; son, Walter "Wally" Heidrich; son-in-law, Michael Hayes, and sister, Jana Hamm. Graveside and burial services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 am Warren Cemetery, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee.
