Walter Henton, 84 of Waukegan, passed on Thursday, May 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on November 27, 1934 to the late Dewitt and Lillie Bell (McGee) Henton in Sikeston, MO. On June 21, 1953 he married Loretta Williams in Waukegan.
Walter is survived by his wife Loretta, his children; Jewel Wells, Marlene McFann, Montarae Henton-Talbot, and Nikki Henton, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church located at 800 S. Genesee St. Waukegan, IL. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Pastor Walstone Francis will officiate.
Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery
Warren Funeral Home is assisting the family.
