Wayne A. Zaehler, 74 of Park City passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born on August 14, 1944 in Chicago to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Seeber) Zaehler. Wayne passed his love of reading onto his daughters and enjoyed seeing the country side while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Cami (Derek) Myers, Amy (Skip) Hogan, Kelly (Ryan) Shea, his grandchildren, Melissa, Dustin, Kathryn, Amanda, Trace, Vaughn, Riley and Kayla, his great grandchild Briana and, his step-children, Tom, Steve, and Laura, his step grandchildren, Julius, Nikki and Gianna, his brother, Jack Zaehler, his sisters, Roberta (Joseph) Hilger and Susan (Joseph) Figueroa.
He was preceded in death by his wife Madeline, his parents and his brother Jim Zaehler.
Visitation will be Sunday September 23, 2018 from 1 to 2 at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. A memorial service will be at 2 at the funeral home. Fr. James Merold will officiate.
The family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
