Obituary

Kathleen P. Cobb, 84, of Gurnee passed away after her long battle with Alzheimer's disease on Friday, April 15, 2022. She was born January 10,1938, in Pilgrim’s Knob, VA.

On December 15, 1957, in Akron, OH, Jesse and Kathleen P. Carey were married. They were married for 56 wonderful years.

She is survived by her children, Robin (Don) Williams, Bonnie (Gary) Semling, Tammie (Terry Davis) Baldwin, Jesse W (Diane) Cobb, Mark (Angie) Cobb, Crystal Alix, & Steve Cobb; grandchildren Katie Engelbrecht, Timothy, Amanda, and Jessica Fuller, Jonah (Kim) Williams, Noah (Belle) Williams, Elijah, Micah, and Mercy Williams, Michael (Shawndelle) Krubsack, and Chandler Krubsack, Dan (Danielle) Baldwin, Jesse, and Louis Cobb, Stephanie (Kevin) Wenzel, Matthew, and Brooke Cobb, Madison, Ashley, & Anthony Alix; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Janis (Barry) Gowan, brothers Bobbie (Bonnie) Carey, and Charles (Vivian) Carey, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by loving husband Jesse Mark Cobb; daughter Julia Ann Fuller; and her mother and father, Gerald and Exie Carey.

Kathleen was a very active and longtime member of Gurnee Community Church.  Kathleen was a loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 10-11am at Gurnee Community Church 4555 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Chris Stephens officiating.  Inurnment will take place at Warren Cemetery, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031.
